App Switcher Pro is an Re-imagined Command-Tab. We reimagined Command-Tab to switch apps with no fuss. Switch apps instantly just by their first letter. I wish it would give visual feedback to help understand what’s happening. For example, if you push “cmd-A,” you don’t know which app will come up when you cycle. Any overlay similar to the Apple default “cmd-TAB” interface would probably be enough. However, when I switch to an app with multiple windows (e.g. Finder with multiple windows), it only shows the active window of the app. Also, Check Out Claris FileMaker.

Unfortunately, the macOS sandbox enforced by the App Store doesn’t allow us to get a list of an app’s windows and switch between them. After switching apps using rcmd, I use the free AltTab.app to do the visual window switching.HIDE: Show/Hide the app instantly.CYCLE: Focus on other apps with the same first letter. The Trigger setting allows you to change the Right. Command trigger to any combination of modifiers. This will come in handy if you have a keyboard without the Right Command key to disable specific letters from being registered by rcmd. Click on the Settings button to find the Enabled Keys setting.
